For classrooms to operate at the highest level, staff members need to feel good and supported in their work. Our 4-year old staff wellness program includes 75 events annually, branded swag, partnerships with local businesses, and cash prizes. Our journey to wellness can inspire your staff's wellness journey. The purpose of this session is to advocate for districts to design staff wellness programs and to share our finding that a healthy staffroom is essential to highly productive classrooms. We will share a replicable model for a successful staff wellness that has received international press and interest from organizations nationwide. It includes high-interest structural elements, like gamification and prize incentives, and it also includes district/business partnerships, which strengthens the community's ties to our schools. All attendees will leave inspired to develop their own staff wellness programs!
