CEO
Laura Bishop launched Laura Bishop Communications (LBC) in 2011 with a handful of clients, a strong work ethic, an entrepreneurial spirit, and charisma to connect it all.

Clients and colleagues call her a “true connector” who is creative, professional, authentic, and positive. It’s no surprise that Laura consistently tells clients that her firm becomes part of their team. They’ve seen her wait alongside them past midnight for school bond votes to be tallied or take a long bus ride to join a show of force at the state Capitol. They applaud her “willingness to jump in” and appreciate her “around-the-clock support and guidance.”

Laura also brings her personal traits and savvy skills to the boards and committees of several nonprofit and professional organizations, including Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge and the Kopenhaver Center for the Advancement of Women in Communication at Rowan University, where LBC sponsors an internship for young women pursuing a career in communication.

Although not an educator, Laura has worked with and been inspired by educators, primarily in New Jersey’s exceptional public schools, for 35 years. She is committed to fostering high school graduates pursuing a career in business, communications, or design through annual scholarship programs.

LBC's steady growth is another source of pride. Laura has assembled a dynamic, diverse, and talented team that is affectionately dubbed the LBC Crew.

Laura walks several miles a day, using the time to clear her head. She often returns with a solution for a client or a new idea to connect with her Crew or show appreciation. She has practiced Pilates for more than 20 years and loves to swim, especially in the ocean. Renovating and decorating her 90-year-old duplex in Ocean City also brings her great joy.
