With 15 years of experience as a dedicated school board member, Tammeisha Smith brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the NJSBA. Currently serving as the Board President for Knowlton Township School District, Tammeisha has held numerous roles at the local, county, state, and national levels with the New Jersey School Boards Association (NJSBA).

In addition to serving on the NJSBA Board of Directors as President, Ms. Smith is the Vice President of Legislation for the Warren County School Boards Association and Treasurer of the Educational Leadership Foundation of New Jersey (ELFNJ). ELFNJ supports NJSBA's mission to advance public education by securing resources for school board professional development. ELFNJ-funded programs work to enhance student achievement and improve school board governance, addressing topics like sustainability and school safety. ELFNJ also provides critical funding for initiatives like county meetings and the New Board Member Orientation Weekend.
