Chronic student absenteeism has negatively impacted student academic success as a result of not being present on a consistent basis. This session will explore why consistent school attendance is critical to academic success. Participants will explore the many reasons behind student tardiness and absence. Effective strategies and solutions used by school districts across the nation to bolster attendance, increase engagement and improve a sense of belonging will be shared.
