Judith A. Rattner retired in December 2018 as Superintendent of the Berkeley Heights Public Schools in New Jersey after 14 years in that capacity and has also worked in the Chatham Boro Public Schools, the School District of the Chathams, and the Montville Township Public Schools as a teacher and administrator. Judy is the recipient of the NJASA Distinguished Service Award in 2013 and the 2016 Superintendent of the Year for New Jersey and represented New Jersey on the national level. Mrs. Rattner is currently serving as the Director of Special Projects for NJASA and her emphasis is on Equity, Aspiring and Women Leaders, Executive Coaching, and mentoring. She has served on various state committees dealing with teacher and principal evaluation, professional development, and equity. She received the New Jersey Council of Education Distinguished Educator Award in April 2018. Mrs. Rattner also served as an officer for New Jersey Association of School Administrators, the New Jersey School Development Council and the New Jersey Council of Education. Throughout her career she has presented at state and national education and technology conferences on a variety of leadership topics. Mrs. Rattner holds a BS in Education from Seton Hall University and is certified to teach English, mathematics, and reading. She also has an MA in Educational Administration from Seton Hall University and possesses certifications as Supervisor, Principal and Chief School Administrator.
