Chanta Jackson

Chanta L. Jackson serves as Chief Public Affairs Officer for the New Jersey School Boards Association. She is an award-winning journalist with more than 25 years of experience in the print and broadcast news industry. In 2013, she successfully reinvented herself by utilizing her marketing and communication skills to enter the field of education. Since that time, she has served as the chief communications and marketing officer, assisting school districts in crafting and controlling their narratives.
In addition to her professional responsibilities, she is a consummate volunteer, having served on the Neptune Township Board of Education for 13 years, and currently volunteering with the Monmouth County Youth Services Commission, Secretary of the University of Maryland NJ Alumni Board of Directors, and as President of the Monmouth County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.
