Amy Abraham is an education leader with deep teacher recruitment, development, and retention expertise. She has spent her career strengthening and diversifying the teacher pipeline, particularly in high-need school districts.
As a former school principal in a large urban district of 20,000 students, Amy led a team of 60 staff and 450 students, achieving a 97% student retention rate, a 24% increase in AP exam performance, and a 120% expansion in curricular offerings. She also trained over 150 school leaders on using data to drive instructional decisions. Earlier, she coached teachers and led data-driven initiatives to improve student outcomes.
Currently, Amy spearheads partnerships at K12 Coalition, working with New Jersey districts to enhance teacher recruitment, development, and summer learning programs. Previously, she held a leadership role at Leamexus, an AI-driven learning marketplace supporting Fortune 500 companies in workforce development.
Amy holds a Master's in Education Studies from John Hopkins University and a Bachelor's in Public Policy from the University of Michigan. She also serves as Academic Committee Chair on the board of a public charter school in the Bronx, furthering her commitment to equitable education.
