Proctor is a certified professional coach, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, retired newspaper editor, mental health advocate and instructor, author, former Marine Corps gunnery sergeant and Vietnam veteran.

Proctor, who recently completed a distinguished lecture speaking series at Penn State University, where he highlighted ethics while working with students in the business and journalism schools, will ask local school officials tough questions that require self-reflection. As a result, attendees will explore their motivations and refocus on their purpose.

Proctor leads his own firm, REDDjobb, which provides crisis communications and public relations services, fast-paced creative and motivational workshops, executive and business coaching and more. In addition to mentoring and coaching current and former journalists, public relations practitioners and media executives, he has coached and mentored teachers and college professors, authors, law enforcement officers and corporate managers at all levels.
