Shauna DeMarco has been the Superintendent of the Tenafly Public Schools since 2018. Prior to this, she was the Superintendent of the Lyndhurst Public Schools, a district where she also served as a middle and high school English teacher, an elementary school principal, the high school principal, and the district's assistant superintendent. In addition to nearly two decades of work in public education, Ms. DeMarco also has experience in small business ownership, having successfully co-owned and operated a manufacturing company for seven years. Currently, Ms. DeMarco is President-Elect of the Bergen County Association of School Administrators and serves as a county liaison to the NJASA Government Relations Committee. Ms. DeMarco is also co-leader of the Bergen County Women in Educational Leadership (BCWIEL) group. She has presented at numerous conferences including NJASA, NJPSA, Techspo, and at the NJ Women's Educational Leadership Conference. .
