Paradigm Shift uses a variety of proven frameworks and theories to create positive change with students and staff. At each event, our facilitators utilize the Kolb Experiential Learning Cycle along with Vygotsky’s Zone of Proximal Development to ensure maximal transfer of non-cognitive skills. This ensures mitigation of learning loss in the affective domain. Paradigm Shift has developed content for holistic leadership, social-emotional learning, and college and career readiness over the last 10 years. Our social-emotional learning content centers around strengths-based leadership, growth mindset, and communication of expectations. Each topic is grounded in mental health and wellness practices such as personal reflection, interpersonal communication of needs and expectations, and resilience.
