The focus of the session will be how effective alternative education programs in school districts can significantly increase equity in schools by improving academic achievement, increasing graduation rates, lowering dropout rates and decreasing negative behaviors. We will discuss how districts currently utilize alternative education programs in their districts and if they are effective and successful in improving equity.
