We have partnered with Younity to collect donations at the 3^rd Annual Women’s Leadership Conference.

Based locally in Lawrenceville, Younity's mission is to prevent abuse, protect families, and change lives through empowerment and a safety net of supportive services. The organization provides quality, compassionate, and nonjudgmental services in a manner that fosters self-respect and independence in persons experiencing domestic violence or a sexual assault.

Younity is gladly accepting donations in the form of gift cards - small items that provide something deeply meaningful to individuals impacted by domestic and sexual violence: choice. After experiencing control and loss of autonomy, even small decisions can be incredibly empowering. Gift cards allow individuals and families to meet their own needs, on their own terms, restoring dignity, independence, and a sense of control. A gift card offers the freedom to purchase food, clothing, and everyday essentials and brings comfort, dignity, and hope.

Helpful Gift Card Ideas:
•    Grocery stores (ShopRite, Aldi, etc.)
•    Clothing retailers (Macy's, etc.)
•    Big-box retailers (Target, Walmart, etc.)
•    Pharmacies
•    Gas cards
•    Amazon

In addition to gift cards, Younity is also accepting the following donations:
•    Clothing (new with tags);
•    Full-size toiletries (hygiene and wellness items, including specialty items such as             textured hair products, sensitive skin products, etc.);
•    Infant/toddler items (new/unopened);
•    Non-perishable food.
